We are pleased to announce the availability of the Italian translation of the Recommendations on Library Legislation and Policy in Europe from our Member, ‘Rete delle Reti.’

We would like to inform you of an update regarding the recent Executive Committee election for the term 2024-2027.
We are delighted to announce the results of the 2024-2027 EBLIDA elections and take this opportunity to extend our gratitude to all members who participated in the elections. We have been very impressed by the quality and range of the candidates.
Online voting will take place to elect a President and to select 10 Executive Committee members from 12 February to 11 March 2024.
As of the close of business on Monday, January 22, 2024, the EBLIDA Secretariat has officially received 2 nominations for the position of EBLIDA President and 11 nominations for the 10 available seats on the EBLIDA Executive Committee.
The Day of European Authors celebrates European literature and encourages interest in reading. It inspires younger generations to explore the richness of European literature. It also promotes linguistic diversity in Europe. The Day of European Authors is taking place on 25 March 2024.
On April 10, 2024, the RL:EU Conference: Digital Upskilling for Libraries in Europe will be taking place in Lisbon, Portugal. The conference will be in a hybrid format, and will present resources, frameworks, and projects on digital upskilling for libraries in Europe.
We are delighted to announce the release of the Czech translation of the EBLIDA Recommendations on Library Legislation and Policy in Europe, provided by our Member, the National Library of the Czech Republic.
