ADDRESSING A PRESSING NEED TO UPSKILL & REWIRE

Generative AI represents just one of the latest advances in emerging technologies impacting the library, information and knowledge management sector. As we find ourselves in the middle of a fourth industrial revolution, our sector has a huge role to play in understanding the ethical and societal impacts of emerging technologies, helping to shape AI for good and supporting the digital literacy of the individuals, organisations and communities we serve.

Furthermore, the need to embed and build a digital future that is fit for purpose, meeting the digital needs of both staff and users – now and in the future – has never been more apparent.

The programme will explore:

  • AI and data
  • Digital creativity
  • Digital rights
  • Digital skills
  • Digital leadership
  • Change management processes
