EBLIDA and OCLC have signed a multi-year agreement, demonstrating their commitment to work more closely and strengthening the bond between the two organizations.

Erna Winters, EBLIDA President, and Saskia Leferink, General Manager of OCLC Benelux, signed the agreement at the EBLIDA Conference earlier this month.

This agreement will allow the organizations to collaborate more, build on their existing relationship, make information more accessible, engage with libraries throughout Europe, and participate in collaborative projects including support of conferences and programs.

“We are excited to be collaborating with EBLIDA and see this as a great opportunity to work with the library community to increase access to knowledge and to learn from each other. Through this, we can work together to support shaping the future of the evolving library landscape,” said Leferink.

“One of the ideas that OCLC stands for is: “because what is known must be shared.” We are delighted that OCLC and EBLIDA have signed this agreement and that we will share our mutual knowledge within the library world. Together we will and can go faster and reach further,” said Winters.
