EBLIDA is excited to announce the soft launch of our new website. While we are in the final stages of development, we couldn’t wait to introduce you to a powerful new tool that’s ready for use: the E-PANEMA Portal of EU-funded, SDG-oriented library projects.

On 5th April 2023, the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe approved the Recommendation on Library Legislation and Policy in Europe, drafted in collaboration with EBLIDA.
On Tuesday 21 March 2023 EBLIDA – along with PL2030 and IFLA, and other library representatives – participated in a hearing in European Parliament on the “Future of the European Book Sector”, organised by Tomasz Frankowski, MEP.

The LIBLEG Working Group has been created with a view to assisting and advising the EBLIDA Executive Committee in revising the Council of Europe-EBLIDA Guidelines on Library Legislation and Policy in Europe.
EBLIDA has created the ELSIA (European Libraries and Sustainable development Implementation and Assessment) Expert Group, dealing with the implementation and assessment of the 2030 Agenda in European libraries.
EBLIDA is re-launching EGIL with renewed scope and aims.
